Rebuild Yourself Inc. Cookie Policy
Effective / last updated: July 16, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Rebuild Yourself Inc. ("RYI," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and digital services (the "Services"). It works in combination with our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies such as pixel tags, local storage, and scripts.
2. Types of Cookies and Similar Technologies We Use
2.1 First-Party Consent Storage
- We use first-party browser local storage (and, when you choose “Remind me later,” session storage for the current browser session) only to remember whether you Accepted analytics or chose Remind me later through the website consent flow.
- These are first-party consent-preference records stored by our site in your browser. You can clear them at any time by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings.
2.2 Optional Analytics and Marketing Technologies
- When measurement IDs are configured in the website environment and you grant analytics consent, tools such as Google Analytics 4 and/or Meta Pixel may load to help us understand site usage and campaign performance.
- These tools are not described here as currently active in production solely because the code supports them. Scripts load only when the relevant measurement IDs are configured and analytics consent has been granted through the site’s consent flow (the consent banner or the preference controls on
/cookies). - Aggregated usage data from these tools, when loaded, is used to improve content and experience; it is not used to identify individuals directly through this website’s own code.
3. Storage Lifespan
- Consent acceptance is stored in browser local storage until you clear site data for this website.
- Choosing “Remind me later” stores a temporary session flag so the banner stays dismissed for that browser session.
- Third-party cookies or similar technologies, when present (for example after a donation widget or analytics scripts load), follow each provider’s own settings. This policy does not assert specific third-party cookie lifetimes.
4. Managing Cookie Preferences
- When the cookie banner is shown, you can Accept analytics or choose Remind me later.
- On this Cookie Policy page (
/cookies), you can view your current analytics status and enable or turn off analytics for this browser. Turning analytics off uses the same Remind me later preference storage so analytics stays disabled; the sitewide cookie banner may appear again in a later browser session. - You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies and site data (including clearing this website’s consent records). Note that disabling certain technologies may impact functionality.
- For mobile apps or embedded browsers, check the device or app settings for cookie and site-data management options.
5. Third-Party Cookies and Similar Technologies
Third parties may set cookies or similar technologies when their services load on our site, including:
- Donorbox on the donation flow (embedded donation widget)
- Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel only when configured and after analytics consent
Our current Eventbrite integration uses outbound links and server-side API-backed event listings. It does not embed an Eventbrite browser widget on this site, and following an Eventbrite link takes you to Eventbrite’s own site, where Eventbrite’s privacy and cookie policies apply.
Hosting providers and linked social platforms may also use their own technologies when you visit those services. Review each provider’s privacy and cookie materials for details. This policy does not assert partner compliance certifications or specific opt-out mechanisms beyond what those providers offer under their own policies.
6. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as we adopt new technologies or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date and notify users of material changes.
